Wedding Day
Tracie chose the gorgeous setting of her grand parent's back yard to say, I do! Her grandma and grandpa have been married 62 years this month. So with their opened hearts they welcomed the opening of their home to blessing the nuptials of Tracie and Dan.
The backyard set-up was elegantly simple in its design with plenty of room for the 75 guests to mingle. The white chairs perfectly placed side by side with a middle aisle adorned with flowers. The beautiful arbor at the end of the aisle that the couple was married under was handmade by Tracie's grandfather. He was even sure to add the special touch of a plaque dedicating the arbor to his lovely granddaughter, Tracie and her new husband, Dan. Graceful and sweet the ceremony moved both bride and groom to tears when the other read off their vows. As they walked back down the aisle hand in hand as husband and wife their guests blew bubbles to send off the happy couple.
The reception immediately followed the ceremony with a cocktail hour while I snuck the bride and groom away for some one on one time in front of the camera. We found a perfect little spot right down the road and around the corner that gave us the luxury of privacy and beauty. Stepping away from the party for a few minutes gives the couple time to enjoy each other on their special day as well as giving them moments to absorb the decision they just made. We were quick to get the newlyweds back to their celebration as belle and beau of the ball.
After dinner the party moved over to the dance floor for the mother and groom dance, father and bride dance, bride and groom dance, and the ever entertaining bouquet and garter toss! The night of dancing continued on as both bride and groom enjoyed the company of each other and their guests.
Tracie and Dan chose Las Vegas as their Honeymoon location and it looks like they had one heck of a time on the town out west! I see it as being the perfect start to their own special twist of their Wildly Ever After...
